Daphne Meinhold, born in 1997 in Hamburg, studied her Bachelor at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in the class of Prof. Jürgen Franz. Daphne Meinhold further complemented her studies with an Erasmus stay at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon in the class of Prof. Julien Beaudiment. She is currently studying in the master's program at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart with Prof. Davide Formisano.

In addition to several prizes at the national level of the competition "Jugend Musiziert" she won a 1st prize in the Lions Music Competition. Furthermore, she won a 2nd prize with her flute quartet at the 19th International Friedrich Kuhlau Flute Competition and a 1st prize at the Tiziano Rossetti International Music Competition.

Daphne is a scholarship holder of the Deutschlandstipendium, the Deutsch-Französisches Jugendwerk, the Richard-Wagner-Verband Bayreuth and the Cusanuswerk e.V. Additionally, she received the NDR Sinfonieorchester Sonderpreis in 2014. Daphne Meinhold got a scholarship from the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Foundation Hamburg and Stuttgart e.V., where she is very involved in bringing music to people who can no longer attend a concert without restrictions. In addition, the concerts are moderated and the works are explained.

From the season 2022/2023 she will be a member of the Orchestra Academy of the Philharmonic State Orchestra Hamburg.
