Natalie Trejo is a Salvadoran-American flutist currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Classical Flute Performance at the Manhattan School of Music in the studio of Linda Chesis. Natalie received her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Texas at Arlington studying under Dr. Terri Sanchez.

Natalie has received First Prizes for the 2022 CanAmerican Flute Symposium Solo Artist Competition, the 2022 Puerto Rico Flute Symposium Young Artist Competition, the 2022 Floot Fire Virtual Soloist Competition, the 2022 Central Ohio Flute Association Young Artist Competition, the 2021 Kansas Flute Society Summer Collegiate Competition, 2021 Central Ohio Flute Association Collegiate Artist Competition, and the 2020 Wisconsin Flute Festival Collegiate Artist Competition.

Natalie has performed in many masterclasses; she has played for flutists Christina Jennings, Sergio Pallottelli, Jim Walker, Jeffrey Zook, Marianne Gedigian, Judith Mendenhall, Molly Barth, Conor Nelson, Cobus de Toit, Alberto Almarza and Paul Edmund Davies.

Natalie was a selected participant for the inaugural semester of the National Flute Association’s Young Artist Mentorship Program. Next summer, Natalie will appear as a soloist with the Puerto Rico Festival Orchestra.
